Galand
In the De Secretis manuscripts (Clavicula Salomonis de secretis, 17th c. — Dresden N.91, Rps 3352 II, Venice b.93) as «Galand», with its power and its drawn character. This is the stratum preceding the printed Verum.
«Galand quoslibet morbos excitat, luem Veneream, Cancros sit[im] vel eos curat.»
De Secretis · SLUB Dresden, Mscr.Dresd.N.91 · p.23 (ms.15)

This same character is also drawn (in red and green ink) in L'Art Magique (Wellcome MS.983, ~1709), the French witness closest to the printed Verum — public domain.

For an enemy to die: heart of a rooster born in March, in a circle with three characters of Galand; lamps of almond/sulfur oil; pronounce 'Remanor adhuc, Calemouch, Atichaloth elestor'; extinguish the three lamps and pierce the rooster's heart with a needle.
De Secretis · Mscr.Dresd.N.91 · p.38-39 (ms.30-31)
The printed Verum also includes him in the nail rite with Surgat and Morail: take a nail from an old coffin, find a footprint, draw the three figures, fix the nail in the middle, and pronounce the stated formula; to remove the evil, the nail must be taken out and the characters effaced with the other hand.
Grimorium Verum · Libro III · rito del clavo
The printed Grimorium Verum (Plaingière ed., 18th c.) names Guland among the eighteen spirits under Duke Syrach and sets out its office. Read it with the facsimile in our edition.
