The Livre des Esperitz (Trinity College, 15th c., in French) and the Liber Officiorum Spirituum (Folger, 16th c., in English) are two witnesses of the same lost source from which the Ars Goetia would later emerge. Set side by side, they reveal the mechanism of transmission: the name warps from copy to copy, but the office —what the spirit does— survives and lets us recognise it. We collate them from our own public-domain transcriptions.
