Second chapter of «The Fallen Choirs». The complete and honest map: from which angelic choir each daemon of the Ars Goetia says it has fallen.
Today, the complete map: from which angelic choir each daemon of the Ars Goetia says it has fallen. And I begin with the truth that almost no channel says: most of the seventy-two do NOT declare any choir.
Of the seventy-two spirits, only a handful confess their angelic origin. The rest are silent. So this is not a complete map of heaven: it is the map of the few who spoke. And that is why it is so valuable... and it must be done with honesty.
Let us begin above the middle triad. The Virtues, the choir of miracles. Two daemons expressly declare it: Agares, the second spirit, and Barbatos, the eighth. Both say, in those words, that they were of the order of the Virtues.
And alongside them, two partial cases by legions: Purson, whose troops are partly of the Virtues; and, only in Weyer, Belial. We dedicate the first chapter of the series to this choir.
The Dominions, the choir of government. Two declare it: Paimon, the ninth spirit, a great king; and Marchosias, the thirty-fifth. Both say they were of the order of the Dominions.
With a discrepancy that must be named: Weyer adds Balam to this choir, but the later Goetia no longer preserves it. Two certain, one doubtful.
The Powers, the choir that restrained the daemons. And, with bitter irony, it is the choir with the most declared fallen: four. Beleth, the thirteenth; Gaap, the thirty-third; Vual, the forty-seventh; and Procel, the forty-ninth.
Those who chained daemons... four of them, chained. It is the choir with the most representatives in all the Goetia.
The two extremes. From the Thrones, seat of judgment, fell Raum, the fortieth spirit. From the Angels, the messengers, fell Caim, the fifty-third.
And several touch them by their legions: Purson and Forneus and Murmur border on the Thrones; Forneus, Murmur and the legions of Paimon border on the Angels; and Amy, in Weyer, is partly Angels and Powers. One certain per choir, several partial.
And the rest? Here is what almost no one says. Four of the nine choirs have no declared fallen in the Goetia: the Seraphim, the Cherubim, the Principalities, and the Archangels. None of the seventy-two says it came from them.
And the vast majority of the daemons simply keep silent about their origin: Bael, Vassago, Asmoday, Sitri, Zepar and dozens more do not declare any choir. Some, like Astaroth or Flauros, speak of the fall in general, but without naming a choir. The map has more gaps than marks.
This is the complete, honest map. Virtues: Agares and Barbatos. Dominions: Paimon and Marchosias. Powers: Beleth, Gaap, Vual and Procel. Thrones: Raum. Angels: Caim. Plus the partial ones by legions, and the discrepancies between Weyer and the Goetia. The rest of the seventy-two, in silence.
Documentary reconstruction from real sources, for study purposes. We do not invent choirs for those who do not declare them. In the coming chapters, we go into each choir in depth.
A documentary reconstruction from real sources (the Ars Goetia, Weyer, Pseudo-Dionysius, Gregory the Great, Thomas Aquinas), for study. The italic passages are the video's recited lines. We do not claim the 72 come from the nine choirs: we only follow what the texts declare.
