Lemegeton, Clavicula Salomonis: -- Or the Little Key of Salomon which Containeth All the -- Names, Orders and Offices of all Spirits that Ever He had any Converse with; with their seales or Characters Belonging to Each Spirit; and the Manner of Calling them forth; -- their Appearance In five parts -- Called Bookes.

1 The first part is A Booke of Evill spirits Call Goetia; shewing how he bound up those spirits, and used them in severall things whereby he Obtained great fame.

2 The second part is A Booke of spirits partly good and partly Evill which is Called Theurgia the Being illegible of the signs. illegible

3 The Third part is of spirits Governing illegible the illegible and what spirits Belonges to Every Degree of the Signes, and planets in the Signes (called the illegible)

These bookes was first found in the Chaldean and hebrew tongues at Hierusalem, by a Jewish Rabbi and by them put into the Greeke Language, and from thence into the Latin As it is said, &c

Here beginneth the Book of the Art Goetia

1 The first principall spirit is a King Ruling in the East Called Baell: he Maketh men goe Invisible, he ruleth over 66 Legions of Inferiour spirits; he Ap= peareth in divers shapes sometimes like a Catt, sometimes like a toad and sometimes like a man; and sometimes all these formes at once; he speaketh very hoarsly, &c. This is his Character which is to be worne as A Lamen before him who Calls him forth or Else he will not Doe you homage. seal of Baell Baell his Seal.

2 The second spirit is a Duke Called Agares; he is under the power of the East and Cometh up in the forme of a faire old man Riding upon a Crocodile very mildly; Carrying a Goshawke on his fist, he maketh them run that stand Still, and fetcheth back the runnawayes, he can teach all Languages or tongues presently, he hath power also to destroy dignities both supernaturall & temporall, and causeth Earthquakes; he was of the order of vertues, he hath under his govern= ment 31 Legions, &c. and this is his seale or Character which is to be worne as A Lamen before [him] &c. seal of Agares

5 The 5th Spirit is Called Marbas; he is a Great president, & Appeareth at first in the forme of a great Lyon, but afterwards putteth on human shape at the request of the Master; he answereth truely of things hiden or secret; he causeth Diseases and Cureth them againe; and gives great wisdom and Knowledg in Mechanicall Arts; and Changeth men into other shapes, he Governeth 36 Legions of spirits; his seale is this which is to be worn as before mentioned seal of Marbas his Seal.

6 The 6 spirit is Valefor, he is a mighty Duke and Appeareth in the forme of a Lion with a Mans head Lowing; he is a good familiar; but tempts those he is familiar with to steale; he Governeth 10 legions of spirits; this is his seale, to be worne Con= stantly if you have his familiarity; Else Not. seal of Valefor Valefor his Seal.

7 The 7th spirit is Amon, he is a Marquis great in power and most strong, he at first Appeareth like a wolfe, with a serpents taile Vomiting out of his Mouth flames of fire; but at the Command of the Magician he putteth on the shape of a man, wth dogges tooth Beset in a head Like a Raven; or in a Ravens head; he telleth all things past, and to Come and procureth Love; and reconcileth Controversies be= twixt friend and foes; and Governeth 40 Legions of spirits, his seale is this which is to be worne as Aforesaid; &c seal of Amon Amon his Seal.

8 The 8: spirit is Called Barbatos; he is Agreat Duke and Appeareth when the [sun] is in illegible with 4 Noble Kings and thire Companies of Great troopes; he Giveth the understanding of the singing of Birds and the voice of other Creatures as the barking of Doggs, &c, he Breaketh hidden treasures open that hath been Layd by the Inchantments of the Magicians; and is of the order of Virtues which some part bear Rule Still; &c he Knoweth all things past and to Come and Reconcileth friends; And those that is in power; he Ruleth over 30 Legions of Spirits; his seal of Obedience is this which weare before you; &c. seal of Barbatos Barbatos his seal.

9 The 9th spirit in order is Paimon, a great King and being very obedient to Lucifer, he Appeareth of a mans sitting on a Dromedary with a Crown most glorious on his head, there goeth before him an host of spirits like men with trumpets & well sounding Cymballs, and all other sorts of Musicall instruments, &c. he hath a great voice & roareth at his first coming & his speech is such that the Magician Cannot well understand unless he Compelleth this spirit can to speak in his owne and plaines or other some things, he can Dis[cern] what earth is & what illegible it is in the water, and when the mind is, or whenso it is, or any other thing you Desire to know; he giveth Dignities and Confirmes the same, he bindeth or maketh any man subject to the Magician if he desire it, he gives good familiars and such as Can teach all Arts; he is to be observed towards the Northwest; he is of the order of Dominions and hath 200 Legions of spirits under him, one part of them is of the order of Angels And the other of potentates; if you Call this spirit Paimon alone you must make some offering unto him and there will Attend him 2 Kings Called Beball & Abalam; & other spirits of the order of potentates; their host Are 25 Legions, &c also those spirits which is subject to them are not alwayes with them, Except the Magician Compell them; this is his Character seal of Paimon

10 The 10th is Buer, a great president, and Appeareth [for]th that is his shape when the sun is in Sagitarius, and teacheth philosophy Morall & Naturall, and the Logick Art, and the vertues of all herbs and plants, and healeth all Distempers in man; and gives good familiars; he Governeth over 50 Legions of Spirits; and this is his seale of obedience, which you may weare when you Call him to Appearance. &c

The 11th spirit is A great and strong Duke Called Gusion he appeareth like a Xenophilus he telleth of all things past present and to Come and showeth the Meaning of all questions you Can Aske; he Reconcileth friendship and Gives Honour and Dignity to Any; and he Ruleth over 40 Legions of spirits; his seale is this; which when as aforesaid &c

The 12 spirit is Sitri, he is a Great prince and Appeareth at first with a leopards face and wings as a Griffon, but after at the Command of the Exorcist he putteth on very beautifull human shape, he enflameth men with womens Love; and women with mens Love; and Causeth them to shew themselves Naked if he be Desired, &c he Governeth 60 Legions of spirits; and his seale to be worne is this &c

The 13. spirit is Called Beleth he is a mighty King and Terrible Riding on a pale horse, the trumpets and all other kind of Musicall Instruments playing before him; he is very furious at his first Appearance, that is whilst the Exorcist allayes his Courage; for to doe that, he must hold a hazell stick in his hand Strikeing it out towards the South & East Quarters, Making a triangle without the Circle; Commanding him into it by the virtue of the bonds and Chaines of spirits hereafter following; and if he do Not Come into the [triangle] Rehearse the bonds & Chaines before him, and then he will yield Obedience and Doe homage unto the magician; Yet he must continue with him in the triangle illegible and receive him Courteously into his office; he is a Great King Beleth And causeth all the Love yt possible may be; both of Men and women till the Master Exorcist hath had his Mind fulfilled, &c he is of the Orders of powers And Governeth 85 Legions of spirits; his Noble seale is this, which is to be worne before you, by the Names of Mathem, &c.

The 14th spirit is called Leraje, he is a Marquis great in power shewing himself in the Likeness of an Archer Clothed in Green, Carrying a bow and quiver, he causeth all great Battles and Contestations, and maketh wounds to putrefie with Arrows by Archers; this belongs to [sagittarius] &c he Governeth 30 Legions of spirits; this is his seale of Obedience &c

The 15th spirit in order is Eligor he is a Great Duke, appearing in the forme of a goodly Knight, Carrying a Lance, an Ensign and a Scepter; he [discovereth] hidden things, and knoweth things to Come, and of warrs and how [the] souldiers will meet, he causeth the Love of Lords and Great persons; he Governeth 60 Legions of spirits, his seale is this, which [is] to be worne before you &c

16 The 16th spirit is called Zepar, he is a Great Duke and Appeareth in Red Apparell Armed like a souldier, his office is to Cause women to Love men; and to bring them together in Love, he Also maketh them Barren, he Governeth 26 Legions of spirits; his Noble seale is this, which is to be worne as before; &c

17 The 17th is a spirit Called Botis, a great president and An Earle, he Appeareth at the first in the forme of an ugly viper, then at the Command of the Magician, putteth on human shape with Great teeth and 2 horns Carrying a sharp bright Sword in his hand; he telleth of all things past and to Come; and Reconcileth friends and foes; he Gover= neth 60 Legions of spirits; and his seale is this

18 The 18 spirit is Called Bathin, he is a mighty strong Duke and Appeareth like a strong man with the taile of a Serpent, sitting on a pale Colored horse, he Knoweth the vertues of herbs and pretious stones, and Can transport men suddenly from one Country to Another, he Ruleth over 30 Legions of spirits; his seale is thus to be Made and worn before you, &c

19 The 19 spirit is Called Saleos, he is a Great and Mighty Duke; and Appeareth in forme of a Gallant Souldier Riding on a Crocodile with a Dukes Crowne on his head Peaceibly, &c He causeth the Love of women to men; and Men to women; and Governeth 30 Legions of spirits; his seale is this, which Must be worne Before you, &c

20 The 20 Spirit is Called Purson, a great King, he Appeareth Commonly Like a man with a Lyons face, Carrying a Cruel Viper in his hand; and Riding on a Bear, Going before him many trumpets sounding, he Knoweth things hidden and Can discover Treasures, and tell all things present past & to Come, he Can take a body Either humane or Aiery, and Answereth truely of all Earthly things both secret and divine, and of the Creation of the world, he bringeth forth good familiars, and under his Government there is 22 Legions of Spirits, partly of the order vertues, & partly of the order of thrones; his seale must be made and worn before you [as aforesaid] &c

The 21. spirit is Called Marax, he is a great Earle and a president and Appeareth in the forme of an Bull; with a mans face; his office is to make men know Astronomy and all other liberall sciences; he Can give Good familiars and wise, which know the vertues of herbs and Stones which be Pretious; he Governeth 30 Legions of spirits; his seale is this and is to be worne &c

23 The 23d spirit is Called Aim a Great Duke and a strong, he appeareth in the forme of a very handsom man in Body; with 3 heads, the first is like a Serpent, the second like a man haveing two Stars in his forehead, the third is like a Calf, he Rideth on a viper Carrying a fire brand in his hand Burning, wherewith he sets Citys Castles and great places on fier; he Maketh one witty all manner of waies; and Giveth true Answers to Private Matters, he Governeth 26 Legions of Inferior spirits; his seale is thus to be made and worn as a Lamin before you, &c

24 The 24. spirit is Named Naberius, he is a most valiant Marquis, and appeareth in the forme of a Black Crow fluttering about the Circle, and when he speaketh it is with a hoarse voyce, he makes men Cunning in all Arts and Sciences but Especially in the Art Rhetorick, he Restoreth lost Dignities & honours, and Governeth 19 Legions of spirits, his seale is this which must be worne, &c

25 The 25 spirit is Called Glasya Labolas, he is a mighty president, and shews himselfe in the forme of a Dog; with wings like a Griffin; he teacheth all Arts in an Instant, and is an Au- thor of Bloodshed, & manslatter; he telleth all things past & to Come if Desired, & Causeth Love of friends & foes, he Cann make a man goe Invisible, and he hath under his Rule 36. 26 The 26th Spirit is Called Bune, he is a strong, Great and mighty duke & Appeareth in forme of a Dragon with 3 heads; one like a dog; the other like a Griffin; the 3d like a man, he speaketh with a high and Comly voyce; he Changeth ye Places of the Dead, & Causeth those spirits which is under him to Gather upon their Sepulchres; he Giveth Riches to a man, & maketh him wise & Eloquent, he Giveth true Answers to your Demands; & Governeth 30 Legions of spirits; his Seale is this which he owns obedience to, &c by which illegible he illegible Charmes which is made thus you may see in the first illegible but the forme is not illegible

32 The 32 spirit in order is called Asmoday, [a great King strong and powerfull] he appeareth with 3 heads whereof the first is like [a Bull] illegible The second like a Man with a Serpents Taile, Belching or vomiting [fire] illegible of his Mouth, his feet is webd like a goose; he sitteth on an Infernal like dragon illegible a Lance and a flagg in his hand, he is the first and Chiefest under the power of Amaymon and goes before all others when the Exorcist hath illegible to him Let it be a band, and Let him stand on his feet illegible

34 The 34th spirit is Called Furfur; he is a Great and Mighty Earle, appearing in the forme of an hart with a fiery tail; he Never speaks truth; Except he be Compelled, or brought up within A Triangle; being Compelled therein, he will take upon himself the forme of an Angel; being bidden, he speaketh with a Hoarse voyce and will willingly Make Love between Man & wife; he Cann Raise Thunders Lightnings, Blasts and great tempestious stormes; &c, he Giveth true Answers both of secret and Divine things if Commanded and Ruleth over 26 Legions of spirits. his seale is this which is to be worn as a Lamin, &c

The 35th spirit is Named Marchosias, he is a great and Mighty Marquis Appearing at first in the forme of a wolfe, haveing Griffins wings, and a serpents taile, and spitting fire out of his mouth; but after at the Command of Exorcist he putteth on the shape of a man and is strong fighter; he Giveth true Answers to all Questions; and is very faithfull to the Exorcist in doeing his business; he was of the order of dominations he Governeth 30 Legions of spirits; he told his Chiefe that after which was Salomon that after 1200 years he had hopes to Returne to the 7th thrones, &c his seal is this to be Made and worne as a Lamin, &c

36 The 36th Spirit is Called Stolas, he is a Great and powerfull prince; Appearing in the Shape of a mighty Raven; at first before the Exorcist; but after he taketh the image of a man; &c He teacheth the Art of Astronomy, and the Vertues of hearbs and precious stones; he Governeth 26. Legions of Spirits; his Seal is thus Made; and worn as a Lamin; &c

37 The 37th spirit in order is Phenix, he is a Great Marques; and appeareth like the Bird Phenix; haveing a Childs voyce; he singeth many rare sweet Notes before the Exorcist, which he must Not Regard; but by & by he must bid him put on human shap; then he will Speak [aptly] of all wonderfull Sciences; if Desired, he is a good and Excellent poet; and willing he will doe your Request; he hath hopes to Returne to the 7th Throne after 1200 yeers afore, as he said to Salomon; he Governeth 20 Legions of Spirits, his seal is thus to be Made & worne, &c

38 The 38th Spirit is Called Halphas, he is a Great Earle, and Appeareth in the forme of a Stockdove; and Speaketh with a hoarse voyce, his office is to Build up towns and to furnish them with Amunition and weapons; and to send Men of war to places Appointed; he Ruleth 26. Legions of spirits, his seal is thus to be Made, and worne as a Lamin, &c

39 The 39th spirit in order is Called Malphas he Appeareth in the forme; at first Like a Crow but after he will put on humane shape at the Request of the Exorcist; and Speaks with a hoarse voyce; he is a Mighty president and powerfull, he Can build houses and high Towers; and he Can bring Quickly artificers together from all places of the world; he Can Destroy the Enemies desires or thoughts; and what they have done; he gives good familiars; and if you make Any Sacrifices to him, he will Receive it Kindly and willingly; but he will deceive him that doth it; he Governeth 40 Legions of spirits; his Seal is thus to be Made and worne as a Lamin, &c

The 40th spirit is Called Raum, he is a great Earle, appearing at first in the forme of a Crow, but after at the Command of the Exorcist he puts on the Shape of a Kingly Man; his office is to carry out things out of Kings houses, and to Destroy cities and the dignity of Men; & to tell all things past & what is, and what will be; and to Cause Love between friends & foes, he was of the order of thrones; and Governeth 30 Legions of spirits. his Seal is this which make and weare as a Lamin before you, &c

seal of Focalor

The 41th spirit is Called Focalor, &c illegible Mighty illegible with Griffins wings his office is to Kill men and to Drown them in the waters and to throw Ships of war for he hath power over both wind and seas, but he will not hurt illegible Man or thing if he be Commanded to the Contrary by the Exorcist he hath hopes to Returne to the 7th Throne after 1000 yeares he Governeth 30 Legions of spirits his seal is this which must be worne as a Lamin,

42 The 42th Spirit is Named Vepar; he is a great and strong Duke; and Appeareth like a Mermaid his office is to Guide the waters & ships Laden with Armoir therein, he will at y Request of the Exorcist, Cause the seas to be Rough and stormy, and to Appeare full of ships; he causeth mon to dye in 3 dayes; with Putrifying their sores, or wounds, and causing worms in them to Breed; &c he Governeth 29 Legions of spirits; his seal is thus to be Made and worn as before; &c.

43 The 43 spirit in order as Salomon Commanded them into y Brazen Vessel is Called Sabnack, he is a Mighty Great Marquess; and a Strong; Appearing in the forme of an Armed souldier with a Lyons head Rideing on a pale Collered horse, his office is to build high Towers, Castles and Citys, and to furnish them with Armoir, and to Afflict men severall dayes with wounds and Rotten Sores, full of wormes; he Giveth good familiars at the Command of the Exorcist; he Commandeth 50 Legions of spirits; his seal is thus to be Made and worne as a Lamin; &c.

44 The 44 spirit in order is Named Shax; he is a Great Marquess; and Appeareth in the forme of a stockdove; speaking with a hoarse and Subtill voyce; his office is to take away the Sight; hearing and understanding of Any man or woman at the Command of y Exorcist; and to steal moneys out of Kings houses; & Carry it Againe in 1200 yeares, if Commanded; he will fetch horses; or Any thing at the Request of the Exorcist; but he must be Commanded into a Triangle first; or Else he will Deceive him and tell him many Lyes; he Can discover all things that is hidden; and Not Kept by wicked spirits; he Giveth good familiars some times; he Governeth 30 Legions of spirits; his seal is thus Made and worn as a Lamin; &c.

45 The 45th is Called Vine; he is a Great King and an Earle, and Appeareth in forme of a lyon Rideing on a black horse; with a viper in his hand; his office is to Discover things hidden; witches, and things present past and to Come; he at the Command of y Exorcist will build towers throw down Great Stonewalls, make waters Rough with stormes &c he Governeth 36 Legions of spirits, his seal is thus which make and weare as a Lamin &c.

46 The 46 illegible [Bifrons] he is an Earle & appeareth in the forme illegible at first illegible but after at the Command of the Exorcist he putteth on the shape of man his office is to make one Knowing in Astrology and Geomancy, and other Arts & Sciences and teach the vertues of all hearbs, Precious stones & woods; he Changeth y dead bodies and puts them in another place, & Lighteth Candles seemingely upon the graves of the dead he hath under his Command 6 Legions of spirits; his seal is this which he will own & submit unto, &c.

These be the 72 Mighty Kings or Princes, which King Salomon Commanded Into a Vessel of brasse; with their Legions, of whome Belial, Bileth, Asmoday and Gaap, was Chief; and it is supposed; it was for their Pride; for Salomon Never Declared why he thus bound them; and when he had thus bound them; and sealed the Vessel he by Divine Power Cast them all Into a Deep Lake or hole in Babylon; and the Babylonians wondering to see such a thing there; they went wholly Into the lake to breake the Vessel open supposeing to find a Great treasure; but when he had broken it open, out flew all the Chief spirits Immediately; and their Legions following them, they were Restored Againe to their former Places; but only Belial which Entred Into a Certain Image, and thence gave Answers to those who did offer sacrifice unto him, as the Babylonians did; for they offered Sacrifices and worshiped that Image as a god, &c.

Observations

You are to observe first the moons age, for your working; the best dayes is when the D: is 2, 4, 6, 9, 10 12. or 14. dayes old; as Salomon saith, and no other dayes be profitable for the seals of those 72 kings to be made in Metals; the Cheefe Kings in [D.] Marquesses in [D.] Dukes in [D.] Prelates in [D.] Knights in [D.] and Presidents in [D.] and Earls in [D.] &c.

These 72 Kings are under the Power of Amaymon, Corson, Zimimar and Goap who are Kings Ruling in the 4 Quarters, East, West, North & South and are not to be Called forth Except it be upon great occasions; but Invocated and Commanded to send such or such spirits as are under their Rule and Power as is shewed in the following Invocations formes or Conjurations &c.

O you great mighty & powerfull King Amaymon who bears rule by the power of the supream god El over all spirits both upper & Inferiour of the Infernall order in the dominion of the East I invocate & command you by the Especiall & true name of God & by God that you worship & by the seal of your creation & by the most-mighty & powerfull name of god Jehovah Tetragrammaton who cast you out of heaven with all other Infernall spirits & by all the most powerfull & great names of God who created heaven & earth & hell & all things contained in them & by their powers & virtues & by the name primumaton who commandeth the whole host of heaven that you cause enforce & compel the spirit N. to come to come unto me here before this circle in a fair & comely shape without doing any harm unto me or any other creature to answer truly & faithfully to all my requests that I may accomplish my will & desires in knowing or obtaining any matter or thing which by office you know is proper for him to perform or accomplish through the power of God El who created & disposeth of all things both celestial Ayerial & terrest- rial & infernall.

After you have Invocated the King in this manner twice or thrice and then conjure the spirit you would call forth by the aforesaid conjurations Rehearsing them severall times together & he will come without doubt if not at the first or second Rehearsing but if he do not come add the spirits Chaine to the End of the Aforesaid conjurations & he will be forced to come if he be bound in chaines for the chaines must break up from him & he will be at liberty.

The generall curse called the spirits chaine Against all spirits that Rebell

O thou wicked proud & Disobedient N because thou hast Rebelled & not obeyed nor regarded my commandment nor being illegible glorious & Incomprehensible names of the true God maker & creator of you & me and of all the world hath commanded you; after no creature can resist do curse you into the depths of the bottomless pit & illegible in flames of fire & Brimstone unquenchable unless you forthwith appear here before this Circle therefore come ye quickly & peaceably in & by these names of God Adonay Zebaoth Adonay of Kings or Adonay command you When you have read so far & he does not come then write illegible & such like things that bears a stinking smell & then write that on a illegible it over the fire of charcoall & say to the fire first it being placed towards that place illegible I conjure thee fire by him that made thee & all other good creatures in this world that thou torment spirit N Everlastingly because thou art disobedient & obeyest not my commandment nor Regardest the precepts of the Lord thy God

rather will thou obey me; nor my invocations having thereby called you forth who am the servant of the most high & Imperiall Lord God of hosts Jehovah & originally & fortified by his Celestiall power & permission neither comes thou to answer these my proposals here made unto you for wch your aversions & contempt you are guilty of great Disobedience & Rebellion & therefore I shall excommunicate you and destroy thy name & seal which I have inclosed in this Box & shall burn them in immortall fire & bury them in immortall oblivion unless thou immediately come appear visibly & affably friendly & courteously here unto me before this Circle in this [triangular figure] triangle in a fair & comely forme & in no wise terrible hurtfull or frightfull to me or any other creature whatsoever upon the face of the earth & make Rationall Answers to my request & perform all my desires in all things that I shall make unto you now o thou Spirit N since thou art still pernicious & disobedient & will not appear unto me to answer to such things wch I would desire of you or would have been satisfied in & therefore by the name & by the power & dignity of the omnipotent & immortall Lord God of hosts Jehovah Tetragrammaton the only creator of heaven & earth & hell & all that is in them who is the marvellous disposer of all things both visible & invisible curse you & deprive you from all your office joy & place & do bind thee in the depth of the bottomless pit & there to remain unto the Day of Judgment I say into the Lake of fire & Brimstone which is prepared for all obstinate disobedient & stubborn spirits o disobedient pernicious spirit N all the company of heaven curse thee the Sun & moon & all the stars the light & all the host of heaven curse thee into the fire unquenchable & torment unspeakable & as thy name & seal is contained in this Box chained & bound up shall be choaked in Sulphurous & stinking substance & burn in this material fire so in the name Jehovah & by the power & dignity of these 3 names Tetragrammaton, Anaphaxeton & primematon cast thee o thou disobedient spirit N into the Lake of fire which is prepared for the Damned & cursed spirits & there to Remain to the day of Doom & never more to be remembered of before the face of God which shall come to Judge the quick & the dead & the world by fire therefore fire shall thou torment the box into the fire & by the names & in the name of the most high Jehovah & come forth ye spirit N. forthwith come without delay saying Behold your confusion if you be disobedient behold the Pentacle of Solomon which I have brought here before your presence behold the person of the exorcist who is called Octinomos in the midst of the exorcism who is armed by God & without fear who potently invocated you & called you to appearance therefore make Rationall answers to my demands & be obedient unto me your master in the name of the Lord Bathal Rushing upon a Black horse who ruleth over you saying come upon a Black horse illegible & humbly make illegible before this circle (or before this circle in this triangle [triangular figure]) to answer & to do my will in all things that I shall desire of you illegible & obey me with humility with all illegible & humility illegible you by all the names of the dignity illegible in peace, visibly & affably & illegible without any deformity illegible & dares not to depart without my licence first obtained.

The Licence to Depart

O thou spirit N because thou hast diligently answered my demands, & art very ready & willing to come at my first call, I doe here licence thee to depart unto thy proper place, without doing any injury or danger to man or beast depart I say and be you ready to come when duly exorcised by the sacred rights of Magick I charge thee to withdraw peaceably & quietly that peace of God be ever continued betweene me & thee Amen

After you have given the Spirit licence to Depart you are not to goe out of the circle till they are gon & you have made prayers unto God for the great blessing he hath bestowed upon you in granting your desires & delivering you from all the malice of the Enemy During the time &c you may command these spirits into the brasen vessell as you doe see him Doing with King before the circle in this Seale of Brass in a fair & comely shape & as he is thereto before in the foregoing conjurations

Here beginneth The second Book called the Art Theurgia Goetia of Solomon the King

In this following treatise you have the names of the cheif spirits with severall of the Ministring spirits that are under them with their Seals or characters which is to be worn as a lamen on your brest for without That the Spirit that is appeard will not obey to Do your will The Office of these spirits is all one for what one can do the other can do the same they can shew & discover all things that is hid & done in the world & can fetch & carry & do any thing that is to be done or contained in any of the 4 Elements fire Air Earth or water & also the secrets of Kings or any other person or persons let it be in what Kind it will These is by nature good & Evil that is the one part is good & the other part is Evil they are governed by their princes & such princes hath his abode in the points of the compass as is shewed in the following figure therefore when you have a desire to call any of the princes or any of their servants you are to illegible illegible to which that point of the compass his King illegible if otherwise you cannot call in any other part there illegible spirit for neither they nor illegible of degree also the seals of the spirits is to be illegible illegible The forme of the square which shews the order of the 31 Kings or princes with their Servants Ministers who when the King is moved his Subjects is easy to be found out The figure followeth
